Facts and Opinions

Our conversation and writing is a mix of two types of statements facts and opinions. Which are true? It is important to know the difference because you can be easily cheated or get lower marks in your academic writing if you state opinions as facts or the other way round. In this lesson I give you the answers and explain why you should continue to use both.

Pass the Mic

This half hour series features interviews and discussions on matters of interest to women in general and migrant women in particular.  Women working in the community talk to women with shared experiences, to people who can help, to female achievers. Heartfelt and empowering discussions about crucial topics in women's lives networking women’s issues, women’s arts and talents.
