The Third and Footlong show is an insight into all things NFL and College Football whilst discussing food and culture from across the United States. Weekly takes on games, the movers and shakers as well as a good dose of humour. The show is presented by Darran Lees and DT

DT is a passionate fan of both Food and Football, having first discovered the sport as a bored child during the summer holidays. On Monday’s during the season (time zones… am I right?) you will often find her screaming at the TV both with joy and disappointment when her team loses…or exits the playoffs for another year running. Hopefully this will be the year! You can’t have football without food so it only makes sense to combine the two into an entertaining episode of Darran and I trying to cook and agree on whose team is better… mine of course. So join us on Third and Footlong to discuss all things football, food and other because who doesn’t love a tangent?

British born and New Zealand based comedian, quiz host, MC and improv performer, Darran won the Carnival Cruise Open Mic competition in 2015, and has been shortlisted for Outstanding Contribution to the Industry at the 2023 NZ Comedy Guild Awards. He was also co-shortlisted for Best Online Production at the New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards (2021, 2022 and 2023) for the cult comedy and political podcast The Podcrastinators. In 2024 he was shortlisted for best Improv group for his work in the Office Jerks improv troupe. Darran has performed comedy in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Darran is a huge NFL and College Football fan and been following the NFL since 1983 and likes the odd sandwich.
