Where did we get the Oclock from, especially now that we have digital watches. Migrants refer to "Asian time" and "Island time� to talk about certain habits. The second series from 2025 focuses on the employment experience of lived experts and was made with funding from the J R McKenzie Trust.
Pasifika Wire Live is a talanoa/chat show featuring people and topics of interest to Pasifika and the wider community. Started in 2020 by Gary and Gladys Shingles, Pasifika Wire aims to connect the voices of our communities to gain a wider understanding of the way things are.

Gary has worked in IT and the technical aspects of broadcasting for over 25 years. Gladys is a broadcaster and journalist who has also worked in the health and public sectors. Both have worked in and around Pacific media and broadcasting.
