Kiwi Slang

Kiwis want you to bring a plate to their barbie and invite you to join them at smoko time at work. When it is hosing down, they want you to stop yakking and stay in your bach. What does all this mean? Its called slang. In this lesson you are introduced to some of the most common Kiwi slang (colloquialisms) and their meanings. The second series from 2025 focuses on the employment experience of lived experts and was made with funding from the J R McKenzie Trust.
