The Language of Ability

Talking about yourself can be culturally unacceptable as many migrants feel that they should be humble and let a third person describe them. But in NZ you have to learn to speak confidently about your skills. It can be simple and has little to do with pride. Employers will ask you to describe who you are and all about your personal and technical skills. In this lesson you will learn about the language used to talk about your ability and how to overcome your cultural barriers to do this.
